Grading

Once your child reaches the U10 age-group, the season becomes a competition and so players need to be graded into teams, and the teams need to be graded to an appropriate level. For this reason it is important to register early and for your child to attend BOTH grading days. NB grading cannot occur until registration paperwork has been completed and at least a deposit paid.

Please be aware that a Coach and a Manager will be required for the team. It is expected that both will come from the parent base of the team. Coaches are not "provided" by the club.

Pre-Season

As the upcoming season will be a full competition, there will be a round of pre-season games. Some are organised between clubs, and/or a compeition will be organised by Macarthur.  This can start within 2-3 weeks of registration day.

It is important that all players attend these games as it allows the team to learn how to play together, gives coaches an idea of the strengths and weaknesses of the team (something to work on) and just to be fair to the other players who attend.

Please be aware that this is a very busy time for the clubs and Macarthur: teams cannot be finalised until registrations are completed; and draws cannot be created unless teams have been nominated. Despite everyone's best intentions, sometimes the draw can be late coming through, giving only a small amount of notice. Please stay in contact with the website, your coach and/or committee members. We pass on the information as quickly as possible.
