29/7/2010 - POSTPONEMENT OF GAMES

This weekend’s round will now be put back until the following weekend; the 7^th/8^th August. Games scheduled for that weekend will be moved back to the weekend of the 14^th/15^th August. This will mean that  Mini Gala Days and Under 9 Knockout will also be postponed. Revised dates for these fixtures will be advised ASAP.

Following speculation Macarthur have confirmed the structure for the semi finals:

"The semi finals will be conducted under a normal top four format with 1 v 2 and 3 v 4 the first week, loser 1 v 2 v winner of 3 v 4 the second week and the two winners then meeting in the Grand Final.

Coaches/managers/players -  card checks must done prior to EVERY match during the Finals series. Teams who do not comply risk forfeiting. There will be no excuses and no exceptions."

21/7/2010 - SPECIAL NEEDS FOOTBALL

A Soccer Come and Try Day ran by Special Olympics Macarthur will be held on the 18th of September 2010. More information.

 ‘Football For All’ is a NSW Soccer initiative, and is a working project to establish Special Needs soccer in local areas. Special Needs is a term used to describe players who require assistance for disabilities that may be medical, mental or physiological.

We have been notified about arrangement for the Gala Days for U6, U7 and U8. U9 is still to be confirmed.

• The Draw for U6 at Gunners Soccer Club (Bensley Rd Sports Complex)

• The Draw for U7 at Harrington Park Soccer Club (Harrington Park Oval).

• The Draw for U8 at Camden Soccer Club - Tigers (Ron Dine Memorial Reserve) and the Field Layout

11/7/2010 - JUNIOR COACHING LICENCE COURSE

There is a junior licence course coming up at Macarthur – 3 day course running all day Sunday (9am-5pm) and Monday/Wednesday 6pm-9pm. Runs 18-21 July. The cost is $50 which will be paid by the club .  If anyone interested, let Carolan (Secretary) know ASAP.
